DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Brune Massoulié (Institute of Science and Technolog
y Austria)\n\nThe lifted TASEP is a variant of the totally asymmetric excl
usion processwhere at each time-step\, instead of trying to move forward a
uniformly cho-sen particle\, we try to move forward a marked particle whi
ch then may passthe marker to another particle. It was introduced by physi
 cists as a toy modelfor non-reversible event-chain Monte-Carlo algorithms\
, which are expectedto reach equilibrium faster than reversible dynamics.
We will study the be-haviour of this system on the integer line by evidenc
ing a connexion with trueself-avoiding walks\, yielding timescales of the
dynamics. This is based onjoint work with Clément Erignoux\, Werner Kraut
 h\, François Simenhaus andCristina Toninelli.\n\nhttps://math-events.uni-
