The purpose of this (informal) course is to introduce the audience with the effective deformation and homotopy theories for algebraic structures with the help of operads (and their generalisations). 

 

3. Koszul duality theory of operads 

 

One can develop the homology theory of operads. In this direction, the most ubiquitous tool is the Koszul duality theory extended, in the same conceptual way, from associative algebras to operads.
