DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Kanami Ueda\, Emma Seggewiss (HCM)\n\nIn recent year
s\, research on mechanism design has been fueled by the proliferation of i
deas from adjacent areas\, novel mathematical tools\, and emerging large-s
cale applications. This trimester program aims to advance mechanism design
theory by utilizing and deepening these insights. In particular\, it will
investigate synergies between mechanism design and information design\, e
xtend the theory beyond expected utility theory\, and study mechanisms in
the absence of transfers. The program will offer a series of events focuse
d on these topics and host researchers at all levels working on mechanism
design and related topics.  >> Link to Trimester Program website <<\nScie

Each week of the Trimester Program includes numerous activities\, such as
a seminar series\, lecture series\, reading courses and so on. In addition
\, there are some major events\, three workshops and one summer school. Th
e workshops are aimed at people who are participants in the Trimester Prog
ram at that time. It is not possible to apply only for these workshops. Th
e Summer School is aimed at early-career researchers\, especially PhD stud
ents and postdocs. There is a separate application platform for this event
\, which can be found on the School's event page.\n\nSchool "Recent Develo
pments in Mechanism Design" (June 1-5\, 2026)\nWorkshop "Mechanism Design
Without Transfers" (June 15-19\, 2026)\nWorkshop "Mechanism Design and Inf
ormation Design" (June 29- July 3\, 2026)\n\nConference "Behavioral Mechan
 ism Design" (July 13-17\, 2026)\n\n\n\nhttps://math-events.uni-bonn.de/eve
