Thurston’s metric is a new (asymmetric) metric on Teichmüller space, which uses hyperbolic structures instead of conformal structures. In this talk, I will show a theorem describing the combinatorial structure of unit tangent spheres of Teichmüller space with Thurston’s metric, and give a formula to determine the dimensions of their faces. As its application, I will show that the combinatorial structure of the unit tangent sphere does not depend on the base point.
