DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Andrea Ronnau (HCM)\n\n\nIn recent years\, some brea
 k-throughs and seminal papers have laid bridges between the formerly dista
 nt fields of Noncommutative Geometry\, Operator Systems and Quantum Inform
 ation Theory.\nMost strikingly\, the long-standing Connes Embedding Proble
 m was solved (in the negative) through methods of quantum complexity theor
 y.\nSome years prior\, the Strong Tsirelson Problem in Quantum Information
  Theory had been solved (in the negative) through Operator Algebras.\nFurt
 hermore\, a new approach to Noncommutative and Spectral Geometry via Opera
 tor Systems has recently attracted a lot of attention\, inspired by physic
 al ideas about quantum measurements.\nAnother unifying theme is equipping 
 the state spaces of operator systems with appropriate distance measures\, 
 as appearing in the theories of Compact Quantum Metric Spaces and Quantum 
 Optimal Transport.\nMotivated by these recent developments\, we are organi
 sing a workshop on Noncommutative Geometry\, Operator Systems and Quantum 
 Information Theory at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics in Bonn.\nIt is
  our goal to bring together experts from each respective field to stimulat
 e and highlight the emerging research on this intersection.\nThe deadline 
 for the application for participation is January 15\, 2027.\nSpeakers:\n\
