In my last talk I presented Lidskii’s theorem, which is the extension of
the classical linear algebra result “trace = sum of eigenvalues” to
infinite-dimensional separable Hilbert spaces and is the topic of my bachelor’s
thesis. The upcoming talk will follow up on the previous talk and sketch parts of
the proof of Lidskii’s theorem I present in my bachelor’s thesis.
