 es of quotients of the affine and periodic Temperley--Lieb algebras with i
 nterest in their fusion relation to conformal field theories. We provide t
 heir diagrammatic construction and find the coefficients of their Jones--W
 enzl idempotents (assuming Ocneanu's formula for the classical Jones--Wenz
 l projectors). We will then relate the traces of these to the trace of the
  extremal weight projectors of Queffelec and Wedrich and to certain correl
 ation functions of two-dimensional models on torus by Di Francesco\, Saleu
