DESCRIPTION:“Thick points” of the GFF are points where\, roughly speak
 ing\, the field is atyp-ically high. They provide insight into the geometr
 ic properties of the field\,and are the basis for the construction of so-c
 alled Liouville (quantum gravity)measures. The set of thick points with th
 ickness level a is a fractal set withHausdorff dimension $2 − a^2/2$. In
  this talk I will discuss another fundamentalproperty\, namely\, that the 
 set is almost surely disconnected for all non-zeroa. This is based on join
 t work with Juhan Aru and Léonie Papon\, and uses aremarkable relationshi
