DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Yan Fyodorov (King’s College London)\n\nBeyond the
framework of standard Ginibre ensembles one of the general toolsavailable
for studying non-Hermitian random matrices is the "HermitizationTrick" du
e to Girko. I will describe an alternative approach based on Kac-Ricecount
ing formulas which provides access not only to eigenvalues but also tonont
rivial right eigenvectors of non-Hermitian random matrices. To illustratep
ower of the approach I will consider a family of matrices interpolating be
-tween complex Ginibre and real Ginibre ensembles\, which in particular al
lowsone to reveal a new scaling regime of "weak non-reality" arising as $N
→ \\infty$.This part will be based on the recent preprint arXiv:2506.21
 058. If time allows\,I will also briefly discuss some results on notorious
ly difficult case of complexsymmetric matrices\, obtained by the same meth
od in collaboration with Ger-not Akemann and Dmitry Savin.\n\nhttps://math
