 hat categorifies the Jones polynomial. Since its discovery\, it has spurre
 d many advances in low-dimensional topology and connected field. In this t
 alk\, we will give a survey on recent devlopements in Khovanov-like theori
 es\, with an emphasis on a certain variant\, called odd Khovanov homology.
  This includes tangle theories\, extension to homotopy type\, and spectral
  sequences to Floer theories.\nThis talk serves as an introduction to a wo
 rking group on odd Khovanov homology\, starting this semester. You are wel
