 eometry\, and symplectic geometry. In this talk\, we explore one such appl
 ication on matrix factorizations. We begin with the representation-theoret
 ic and algebro-geometric aspects of matrix factorizations. Then we explain
  how they relate to Fukaya categories of symplectic manifolds\, which is m
 ade explicit through the localized mirror functor. Throughout the talk\, w
 e illustrate these ideas with concrete examples. This is based on joint wo
