Tensor categories are a fundamental concept in modern representation theory, with deep connections to representations of finite and algebraic groups, commutative algebra, algebraic geometry, low-dimensional topology, mathematical physics, categorification, and higher categories. In recent years, several astonishing discoveries have been made and new research directions have opened up, including:
-- generalized Verlinde categories, incompressible tensor categories,
-- tensor categories constructed from pro-oligomorphic groups, discrete tensor categories,
-- fusion categories, modular tensor categories, categories arising from vertex operator algebras,
-- Lie theory, commutative algebra, algebraic geometry in tensor categories.

The goal of this workshop is to bring together leading experts and early-career researchers working in the field, discuss and spread recent ideas, and facilitate collaborations.
