Description

The next Tea Time will take place on the 2nd of June at 4:30 pm in the Hausdorff-room with the topic “Networking and Career Paths – Different Paths in Academia”. We have invited Dr. Tingxiang Zou, a postdoc in mathematical logic at the University of Bonn, and Miriam Ruß, a researcher in future energy and industry systems at the Wuppertal Institute. They will tell us about the very different paths they took from a degree in mathematics towards an academic career and about the ins and outs of the positions they have held. After a panel discussion you can ask you own questions over a cup of tea and cookies. The panel discussion will take place in English but we can translate questions asked in German.

As always all female, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender persons are invited.

More information can be found on our website.
