January 11 - 15, 2027 HCM Workshop/Conference
Europe/Berlin timezone

We review and discuss the ideas, methods and applications of the latest developments on the Riemann zeta and allied functions. This includes in particular the recently established proof of the quasi Riemann Hypothesis over the rational numbers as well as over general number fields and its manifold consequences, ranging from Artin's primitive root conjecture and torsion in class groups to equidistribution of periodic torus orbits of higher degree fields.

The target group are early career researchers with an excellent background in analytic number theory. The collaborative retreat will feature lectures by the organizers as well as exercise sessions and projects in small workgroups in the stimulating atmosphere of the Hausdorff Institute.

Scientific Organizers:

  • Edgar Assing (Bonn)
  • Valentin Blomer (Bonn)
  • Farrell Brumley (Paris)

The University of Bonn and HCM are committed to diversity and equal opportunity. We aim to increase the proportion of women in areas where women are underrepresented and to facilitate their careers. We therefore strongly encourage women with relevant qualifications to apply.

To encourage the participation of young researchers facing increased financial burden a small number of funded places are available.

The call for participation is open
You can submit an application for reviewing.
