On the occasion of Professor Alois Kneip’s retirement and in honor of his academic career, this conference centers around the scientific contributions and interests of Alois Kneip—including nonparametric statistics, functional data analysis, and nonparametric frontier models. The workshop aims at bringing together statisticians with diverse backgrounds, providing a platform to exchange their ideas and foster new collaborations.
