Kleine AT (Kleine Algebraische Topologie) is a new biannual workshop series designed for Master's and Ph.D. students in algebraic topology from universities across North Rhine-Westphalia and neighboring regions. This one-day intensive workshop focuses on a single, carefully chosen topic within algebraic topology, providing participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding through a structured series of five one-hour talks given by fellow students. The inaugural event will explore “Spectral Sequences and the Even Filtration“ studying recent work by Antieau on spectral sequences and décalage, alongside applications to the even filtration developed by Hahn--Raksit--Wilson. The format encourages active participation, community building, and knowledge sharing among early-career algebraic topologists, while rotating between participating universities to foster regional collaboration.
Please see the attached Syllabus for information about the program.
